Dr. Dave Robinson at the Department of Recreation and Tourism Management at Malaspina University-College has forged a partnership with the Ucluelet planning department, providing valuable aid in the summer 2003 review of the Official Community Plan. The relationship may soon lead to a long-term program to help Ucluelet address ongoing concerns in community development.
